I can't close the gates of hell that I opened myself. I've confirmed once again that SNS is not a suitable medium for discussion. This isn't something that can be resolved overnight. After all, it took a long time to get rid of Japanese linguistic remnants.

Still, I hope that rather than anger, everyone is left with contemplation in their hearts. Rather than distinguishing what kind of [노|ㄴ]-ending we're talking about, if there are people who get hurt by those words, couldn't we at least have a moment of hesitation before using them?

In the end, it's about choice and attitude. Those of you sending me messages that start with curses and end with [노|ㄴ]-endings—take another look at what your words are actually proving. July 3, 2026. 20:39. Views: 22.3K

I'm literally trembling

🐺

this is why i stick to watching content instead of following who made it, too much mess

🦊

as someone who works in media this hits different... the power dynamics here are actually insane

🦊

This is actually unhinged

🦊

Who does she think she is telling people they got hurt because of MY dialect? And she was the one trying to throw a rookie under the bus in the first place, so why's she backing off now?

🐰

Legitimately mental, honestly

🐰

On the internet, just using '노' doesn't stick as 'ilbe' anymore because it's lost its effect—the main thing was tying it to Gyeongsang dialect. People from Seoul don't even know what cases it's used in or whether certain endings are dialectal. As it spread and became trendy, the connection faded, so calling people ilbe for using '노' just doesn't land anymore

I've lived in Gyeongsan my whole life, 33 years speaking Southeast dialect, and I'm absolutely seething—Japanese remnants? Is MY language a remnant? Is the way I actually speak supposed to be wrong? Those ilbe bastards use '노,' so what, I'm supposed to do what? I just use it naturally where I grew up. How is that wrong? For fuck's sake, if anyone's getting hurt, they should just suck it up. This is ridiculous

🦊

Using '노' is a crime now? Dialect is something that needs to be fixed? This is way too much, seriously

🐰

They're really desperate to censor everything

🦊

okay but did anyone actually watch the response or are we just dunking based on the headline

🦊

Seems like a genuine lunatic, does MBC just collect these people? lol they're all mentally ill

🦊

wait hold on, a PD getting called out by a ROOKIE? that takes guts lmao 💀

🦊

Not sure what to believe here but the Korean entertainment industry drama never misses

feminist bias accusations are wild, but also why are we acting like pointing out sexism is controversial
