~ 2. Workaround Access Method

On May 1, 2026, it was ridiculously designated as a harmful site and got blocked. Since Melon Books isn't just a site that sells adult content but rather a site that sells quite a diverse range of books and works, the reaction was that it's incomprehensible to block the entire site because of a few specific works. The workaround method is similar to that of DLsite, a similar doujin site.

• PC and Mobile Common ○ Use a VPN like Proton VPN or Nord VPN on Chrome browser. Based on the free version, you just need to use the US, Japan, etc. and refresh a few times.

Google and YouTube have an overwhelmingly high number of content deletion requests.

So there's this site called Melonbooks — basically Japan's go-to shop for doujin stuff

And on May 1st, it got flagged as a harmful site and straight up blocked in Korea

It's not even like they only sell adult content there and that's a fact (honestly blocking them just for that is weird anyway)

Even customs doesn't crack down on this, so why are they blocking it??
